Bonsai
There are many
different varieties of
bonsai such as elms,
pines, junipers,
cedars, chamaecparis,
cryptomeria, maples,
hackberry, hornbeam,
zelkova and willows.
We have purchased several bonsai trees to introduce you to
the art and culture of bonsai.  Bonsai (referred to as Penjing in
China) is the art of miniaturizing and containerizing plants.  It is
a marriage of art and horticulture.  Practicing bonsai can help
us develop a deeper appreciation for the natural world and our
fellow human beings.  Bonsai requires patience, diligence,
responsibility, creativity, and awareness, amongst other things.
It is not always easy, yet bonsai can enrich our lives with
beauty and inspiration.  If you pay attention to your bonsai and
take good care of it, you will enjoy it for many years.
A free survival guide for the
first time bonsai owner is
included with your bonsai
purchase.  It will help you
learn the basics of caring for
your new tree.  For more
